Save the environment !

Ladys and Gentleman ,

I think really everyone of us sometimes realizes, that there are not as many animals in our nature as a few years ago. But only a few of us think about it, why so many animals are away now. On this pisture you can see, how the envirnonment looked in 1984. (picture 1)

There were nice meadows, big ponds and many woods. But now our environment changed.(picture 2)

Now there are much more nuclear power stations, houses and streets. This is a big problem for example for frogs and toads. When they want to cross the road to get to the pond where they were born, to lay the spawn, a car could drive through them. An other problem is, that there are less ponds now, so many frogs and toads can´t go to any pond to lay the spawn.

But the changing of our environment isn´t only a problem for frogs and toads. It´s also a problem for example for rabbits and badgers. Where can they live when there are no meadows and fields anymore?

On this picture you can see, what the big problem is. ( picture 3) Cars, nuclear power stations and we produce much carbon dioxid. It gets into the athmosphere, but because of the big ozone layer it can´t get out. And this is, why our world gets warmer,warmer and warmer.

If this goes on like that, polar bears can´t live anymore in a few years, because all the snow and all the ice melts.

So we have to do something for our environment. Of course we can´t put away the ozone layer, but we could for example go more often by bus or bike, and not always by car. Because then we produce less carbon dioxid as when we go by car. We should also put or rubbish into bins and not in our nature. We´ve got them to put rubbish in it! There are many other ways to help our environment.

I want you to think about it, and to do something! Help us to make our city, and our world as clean and animal friendly as it has once been.
